This mod has attempted to leave most weapons at the default 2015/EA settings, however some changes have been made to restrict or discourage some of the more unrealistic gameplay styles on the public servers. In trying to stick to defaults, this mod is definately not a "more" realistic representation of the WWII weaponry and movement speeds while using them, like both CKR and CPR do so well. Instead the changes are an attempt to balance and promote team play and the use of special weaponry by providing advantages to doing so as part of a squad and penalties for solo tactics.

Installation - copy the user_DogMeat_Balance.pk3 file into your Mohaa/main directory and start up a server. Don't forget to add the [DMBal] tag to your server name for fast identification of the mod type.

The four weapon types I've modified are grenades, rockets, shotguns and the sniper rifles.

Grenades: You spawn with only two. You can of course pick up any that might be on the ground. Use them wisely, and you shall prosper. No other changes were made.

Rockets: You spawn with only two shells. Walk/Run speed dramatically reduced when the rocket is readied to fire, it has been lowered to 0.2 from the default of 0.75 The loading delay between shots has been increased to 8 from 1. Shell flying speed is increased to 2500 from the default of 2000. A comment from I assume 2015 in the file notes "full realistic speed is 2800 (175ft/sec)" Teamwork will help make the most out of those two rockets, as will switching to pistol and back to rocket for speedy movement, and of course throwing the empty rocket away and grabbing a gun from a corpse when (or if) you can. No other changes were made.

Shotguns: The number of pellets has been changed to 12 from the default of 20, as in the CKR mod. The damage each pellet does is still default, its set at 17 so a full blast would hit for 204 health, and even a half hit of 6 pellets would do for 102 health. This however may need tuning, for comparison the original 20 pellet by 17 points hit for a max of 340 points. No other changes were made.

Sniper Rifles: Changed the zoom to 30 from 20, which widens the Field of Vision at the expense of Distance, but it's not a huge change. In fact it's the zoom level the CKR mod changes the Springfield to, he lists it as being 2.5x at the setting of 30. I would be happier if there was a restriction on running/reloading while zoomed, however right now it can't be done. No other changes were made.

All other weapons and server settings are unchanged from the 2015/EA defaults up to patch v1.11, which means those used to the default settings for the sub mg, machinegun, and rifle have no changes to adapt to. Also the modifications I made are absolutely equal to both sides, for example the slowdown between rocket shots is 8 for both teams. However what I did not change was those defaults that are already not exactly even, in other words uneven because thats how 2015/EA made them.

A special thanks to modders Crow King of [CKR] and Covak and Pooter of [CPR], I of course had your mods as a guide of what could be done to the default files in the exact gameplay areas I wished to address. Also cheers Crow King, your commented code that also listed the default made things much faster.
